U-Haul recently announced its Top U.S. Growth Metros and Cities of 2025 rankings based on more than 2.5 million one-way migration transactions. The Boise Metro area was ranked No. 12 nationwide, climbing five spots compared to last year. At the city level, Meridian ranked No. 11 while Nampa was ranked No. 23.

The data shows that the region experienced a net gain of inbound movers, with many new residents relocating from Washington, Oregon, and California. Factors such as lower cost of living, access to outdoor recreation, and overall quality of life have made the Treasure Valley an attractive destination for people looking to live and work.
