Nampa Library Hosts Children's Garden Literature Class

The Nampa Public Library will hold its next Literature in the Garden class on Friday, September 12. The event runs from 3:30 to 4:30 PM in the MP Room. This month the focus is harvesting vegetables with an activity where children create bookmarks by pounding plants. The program is part of the Junior Master Gardener curriculum and is presented by University of Idaho Extension’s Canyon County Jr. Master Gardener volunteers. The class is designed for children aged 6 and older; younger children may participate if accompanied by a caregiver.
