On April 16, the Idaho Center in Nampa will host a drive-thru food giveaway event. The event is organized by Boise VA Medical Center. Veterans, first responders, and their families can drive up to have their vehicles loaded with groceries and household items at no cost. In the past, the items given away were valued at more than $500. The giveaway will start at 11 a.m. and continue until all the items have been distributed.
