Ex-Husband Dies in Murder-Suicide After Shooting Victim

On March 13, shortly after 10 p.m., Caldwell police responded to a call about shots fired at an address on Parkmont Way. Officers found 48-year-old Jeramie Kuhlman, the ex-husband of the victim, lying near a tree with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Witnesses reported that after an argument, Kuhlman shot at the victim and then shot himself. Canyon County medics transported him to a hospital in Boise, where he later died. No one else was injured. Police later confirmed that Kuhlman was on parole for rape.
