Northwest Nazarene University’s Music Department in Nampa, Idaho will present Meredith Willson’s The Music Man. The shows are scheduled for March 14 at 7:30 P.M., March 15 at 7:30 P.M., and March 16 at 3:00 P.M.

The production features the story of traveling salesman Professor Harold Hill, who convinces the residents of River City, Iowa, to form a boys’ band even though he lacks the skills to lead it. Only the town’s librarian, Marian, knows the truth about his capabilities.

The Music Man is performed under a special arrangement with Music Theatre International, which supplies all of the authorized performance materials.
