**Local Neurosurgery Club Hosts Helmet Fundraiser to Support Kids in Need**

The Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine's (ICOM) Neurosurgery Club has launched a helmet fundraiser aimed at providing 100 new helmets to students in need across the Treasure Valley. The initiative, running from February 24 to March 14, seeks to promote safety for children while riding bicycles, scooters, or skateboards.

The Neurosurgery Club is collaborating with local school districts to identify and distribute helmets to children who need them. Cyclists and medical professionals alike recognize that wearing a helmet can help prevent head injuries, potentially saving lives.

Community members are encouraged to support the cause either by donating directly or sharing fundraising efforts. For more information or to contribute, visit the fundraiser’s website at [NEUROSURGERY HELMET FUNDRAISER](https://icom-student-organization-store.mybigcommerce.com/neurosurgery-helmet-fundraiser/).

Canyon County Paramedics in Caldwell, ID, expressed their support for the initiative, emphasizing the importance of helmet use for childhood safety in the community.
