**Winter Reading Program “Dash to the Candy Stash” Announced at Nampa Public Library**
The Nampa Public Library is launching an exciting winter reading program for children and teens from November 12, 2024, to March 31, 2025. The program, titled "Dash to the Candy Stash," is designed for participants aged 0-17 and includes opportunities to win candy rewards while developing their reading skills.
Families are encouraged to visit the Nampa Public Library, located at 215 12th Ave. S., to pick up a reading log and kickstart their reading adventure. Participants can log their time spent reading, whether independently or through listening to someone read aloud. The goal is to track daily reading progress and complete levels.
Once a level is completed, participants are invited to return to the library to have their reading logs stamped by library staff. With the stamped log in hand, readers can then head over to Candy Stash, located nearby, to claim a sweet treat.
This collaboration between the Nampa Public Library and Candy Stash provides an entertaining way to encourage literacy and celebrate progress with delicious rewards. Don’t miss this opportunity to participate in a fun and rewarding winter activity!
