**Nampa Event Brings Local History to Life**

On Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM, the Nampa Public Library will host a unique educational experience in its multipurpose rooms. The event will focus on the lives of Colonel William Dewey and Belle Dewey, key figures in shaping Nampa and the Treasure Valley during the late 1800s.

Portrayed by Corey and Marie Clyne from the Fort Boise Living History Project, attendees can expect historically accurate reenactments, complete with period clothing. The presentation will delve into the Deweys' contributions to the growth and development of the region.

This event is held in partnership with the Western Heritage Foundation and is part of the library’s efforts to bring local history to the Nampa community. Residents and history enthusiasts are encouraged to attend and learn more about this essential chapter of Idaho’s past.

The event is free and will take place at the Nampa Public Library, located in Nampa, Idaho.
