**Construction Begins on Northside Blvd and Cherry Ln Intersection**

Major construction is set to begin at the intersection of Northside Boulevard and Cherry Lane as a roundabout is built to replace the current four-way stop. The project, managed by the Nampa Highway District, will start on February 10 and is expected to be completed by August 2025.

According to the City of Nampa, the roundabout will help reduce the crash rate and alleviate ongoing traffic congestion in the area. The new structure will be made of concrete, chosen for its durability given the high volume of truck traffic passing through.

During construction, the intersection will be closed to all traffic. A detour route will be in place, and local traffic will still be able to access the surrounding area.
