On September 11, 2001, Nampa held a Patriot Day ceremony at Fire Station 1. Nampa Police and local officials marked the day with live coverage from the event. The ceremony included remarks about the importance of unity and remembrance. Officials encouraged participants to take time on the day to honor the events of 9/11 and the enduring spirit of service shown on that day and in the weeks that followed.
