The City of Nampa is hosting an annual Stormwater Clean-Up Day at Wilson Creek Park on Saturday, October 4 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Volunteers of all ages are invited to help improve local waterways by learning effective methods for keeping them clean, clearing debris from storm drains, picking up litter in the park, and marking storm drains with decals to raise awareness of water quality issues. All cleaning materials and lunch will be provided by the City of Nampa. Interested residents can register for the event by Monday, September 29 at nampa.info/stormwaterday, or contact Environmental Resources at (208) 468-5476 for additional information.
