Nampa Police Department has highlighted the work of its forensic science team during Forensic Science Week. The group, consisting of Kelly, Allison, Maddie, Christine, and Melisa, is responsible for a wide range of tasks, including evidence collection, safekeeping and storage, crime scene investigations, crime solving, and fingerprint analysis.

This acknowledgment comes after the Crime Lab received accreditation in crime scene investigation, latent print processing, and comparison over the summer. The accreditation process required the lab to demonstrate competency, quality systems, and the ability to produce reliable data by meeting the criteria of the accreditation body based on international standards.

The department recognizes the team’s commitment and contributions in supporting Nampa’s forensic efforts.
