Last week, the Nampa Police Department hosted its 3rd Annual Employee Salsa Contest. Cpl. Shea Phillips was announced as the contest winner for the second year in a row. Phillips used a salsa recipe passed down from her aunt, who is known in the family as an experienced salsa maker. The contest featured a variety of entries, including traditional family recipes and new submissions. The judging panel, composed of Carina, Greg, and Kat, selected the winning entry during an event that allowed spectators to enjoy the leftovers.
