**Franklin Blvd Reopens After Water Line Upgrades in Nampa**
Nampa, Idaho – North Franklin Boulevard is now fully open following the completion of significant water line upgrades. The project, which included updates to water services for both commercial and residential properties as well as enhancements to fire hydrants, is expected to improve water service reliability and boost fire flow performance in the area.
The upgrades were part of a larger effort to modernize infrastructure beneath the roadway. Crews are continuing to finalize minor tasks, such as removing traffic cones and sweeping the roadway, which is not expected to impact traffic.
Looking ahead, the project area stretching from Industrial Road to East Plaza Loop is set to be chip sealed and fog coated during the spring or summer of 2025 to further preserve and protect the roadway.
The municipality expressed appreciation to the community for its patience during the construction process, emphasizing the long-term benefits of the improvements.
