**Applications Open for Nampa Golf Commission**

The City of Nampa is now accepting applications for two open positions on the Golf Commission. The deadline to apply is Sunday, December 29, 2024. Mayor Debbie Kling is seeking individuals to join the board, which provides advice and guidance for the city's two municipal golf courses—Centennial Golf Course and Ridgecrest Golf Club.

The Golf Commission meets monthly on the third Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. at the Harward Recreation Center. One of the available positions is specific to Ridgecrest Golf Course and carries a term of two years, running from March 1, 2025, to February 28, 2027. The other opening is general and will serve a five-year term from March 1, 2025, to February 28, 2030.

Appointments to the Golf Commission will be made by Mayor Kling and require confirmation by the Nampa City Council.

Completed applications, along with a letter of interest explaining why the individual would like to serve, should be emailed to mayor@cityofnampa.us. Applications can also be delivered or mailed to Nampa City Hall, located at 411 3rd Street South, Nampa, Idaho 83651.
