**Nampa Police Hosts 9th Annual Christmas Tree Decorating Contest**

The Nampa Police Department has kicked off its 9th Annual Christmas Tree Decorating Contest, and they’re calling on the community to get involved. Known for fostering creativity and teamwork among staff, this yearly event highlights festive tree designs created by Nampa PD employees.

This year’s People’s Choice Award will be determined entirely by public votes. Community members can participate by voting online—one “like” equals one vote. Voters are encouraged to interact with individual photos of the trees to cast their support. Multiple votes are allowed, with no limit on favorites.

In addition to the photo submissions, there are videos in the comment section for a closer look at some of the creations. The contest runs until Christmas, and the tree with the highest number of votes by Christmas night (or the next day) will be crowned the winner.

People are encouraged to share the voting post with friends but reminded to ensure votes and “follows” come directly to the Nampa Police page.

Creative co-workers at the Nampa Police Department are embracing the holiday spirit through this friendly competition, and they leave the final decision in the hands of the community. Get ready to vote and help decide which tree takes the top spot this year!
