**Dash to the Candy Stash: A Sweet Winter Reading Program for Youth**

**Nampa, ID —** The Nampa Public Library is partnering with Candy Stash LLC to bring a unique and exciting winter reading program for children and teens aged 0-17. Titled *Dash to the Candy Stash*, the program runs from November 12, 2024, through March 31, 2025, and encourages youth to embrace the joys of reading during the colder months.

To participate, young readers and their families can stop by the Nampa Public Library, located at 215 12th Ave. S., to pick up a reading log and begin tracking their reading progress. Participants can either read independently or listen to someone read aloud. Each day spent reading counts toward reaching new levels in the program.

For every level completed, participants can return to the library to have their reading logs stamped by staff. Once stamped, only a short five-minute stroll stands between participants and Candy Stash, where they can show their stamped logs and claim a “sweet surprise” as a reward for their efforts.

The collaboration between the Nampa Public Library and Candy Stash aims to make reading an enjoyable and rewarding activity for local youth this winter.
